ARCHIVAL USE: GMAT R2020a Downloads

Thinking Systems builds a collection of GMAT Plugin Components that are provided free to interested parties. These components are licensed using one of several licenses, depending on the source of the code used. Components coded entirely at Thinking Systems are licensed using the same Apache 2 license used for GMAT. Licensing for other components is provided as describe in their download section.

TLE Propagator

GMAT's propagator suite includes numerical integrators working with detailed force models and ephemeris propagators for various ephemeris formats, but lacks a propagator for NORAD two-line element sets. The SPICE toolkit in GMAT includes a TLE propagator. This plugin provides an interface into that code, so that GMAT can propagate two line element sets directly from the text file.

GMAT R2020a Updates for Ubuntu 20.04/Python 3.8

The GMAT R2020a package for Ubuntu Linux on SourceForge was built using Ubuntu 18.04 LTS. Ubuntu 20.04 LTS updated its core Python library suite to Python 3.8, making the GMAT R2020a Ubuntu package's libraries that use Python incompatible with the 20.04 operating system.

The components that depend of the Python libraries, built from the GMAT R2020a code base on an Ubuntu 20.04 system, are available for use here. Note that this package is provided on an "AS IS" basis for users that need it. The GMAT R2020a release test process was not run on these library replacements.

  • License: Apache 2.0
  • Status: Production, not rigorously tested
  • Code availability: Identical to GMAT R2020a Code
  • GMAT Release Compatibility: R2020a
